Method of preparation
2 cups of brown rice is poured into a bowl full of cold water, before rinsing well several times. Brown rice with peas and mint
Ingredients
- 1 ¼ cup of chicken broth
- ¾ cup brown rice
- 1 1/2 cups frozen peas
- ¼ cup finely grated feta cheese
- ¼ cup chopped fresh mint
- Freshly ground pepper
Instructions
- Boil the broth and add the rice.
- Cook until the rice is soft and almost cooked.
- Stir and add the peas.
- Once the rice has absorbed enough water, remove from the heat and add the feta cheese, mint and pepper.
- Cover and wait 3-5 minutes.
